LADIES’ AID

Second Thursday of each month, 1:30 p.m. Ladies’ Aid is an organization that fosters Christian fellowship among the women of our congregation, and furnishes opportunities for their spiritual growth. Its members learn about church and community topics through guest speakers. Ladies’ Aid assists in building the kingdom of God through charitable endeavors in our congregation as well as supporting local and world missions.

DART BALL

Any WELS male in eighth grade or older is eligible to play. They meet in January at New Ulm. This is a great opportunity for new players, as well as seasoned players, to get involved in fun, fellowship & camaraderie.

ALTAR GUILD

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to preparing and maintaining the altar, sanctuary, and related furnishing for worship services. We ensure the Church is properly setup for all services, including weekly, seasonal, and special occasions. We have monthly meetings with the volunteers or the team leader for the month. We also enjoy an “Annual Meeting” in the fall.

QUILTERS

The church quilters gather once a month to sew and make quilts for the high school graduates in our congregation. They meet on the third Monday each month from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm. This group is open to all. We enjoy visiting and creating quilts for our young people. You do not need to know how to sew to join us. There are other tasks to be done when creating a quilt. They will teach you to sew, if interested. Come join us; it is a great way to enjoy time with fellow Christians.

GRIEFSHARE

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way. MUSIC - We glorify our Lord through music!

ADULT CHOIR

They sing occasionally in worship services and on festival dates from September - May. Specific schedule will be determined.

BLENDED WORSHIP TEAM

Our Blended Worship Team is a group of vocalists and instrumentalists who lead worship in a contemporary style. This group leads worship occasionally throughout the year, and holds three rehearsals prior to each date after Sunday Bible study.

CONCERT BAND

Saint Peter Lutheran Concert Band is made up of church members who play a wind instrument (woodwind or brass) or percussion. The ensemble plays in church 4 to 5 times a year between the months of September and May. There are typically 3 rehearsals before each performance date. All ages welcome!

HANDBELL CHOIR

Handbells are a beautiful way to praise the Lord and enhance worship. Handbell choir rehearsals are held several times before festival services.
